Cheshire is a beautiful county, home to the historic town of Chester which is filled with incredible architecture and pretty cobbled streets just waiting to be explored. But that’s not all. Lion Salt Works
One of the newest heritage attractions in the UK, the Lion Salt Works offers a selection of fascinating interactive activities and exhibits designed to teach guests about the UK’s salt industry and how it is harvested. The theatrical lighting, sound and film performance housed in one of the factory’s oldest salt-boiling pans is a must.

Formerly home to a whole industrial community, the Quarry Bank is now a stunning building surrounded by flowering gardens, idyllic bridges and a beautiful stream.

Canal Boat Trip
For something a little bit different guests can hire a narrowboat from Anderson Boats in Middlewich and explore some stunning routes. See the City of Chester from a different angle, visit Ellesmere Port and the National Waterways Museum, head to the town of Lymm or just see where the river takes you.
